Wegmans supermarket location in Lake Grove has its grand opening at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Wegmans had 111 stores in eight states But the Lake Grove store is their first location on Long Island. The regular store hours will be from 6 a.m. to midnight daily.

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman officially kicked off his reelection campaign Monday at a campaign event in Massapequa.
