Authorities dismantled a walk in basement vault at the former home of accused Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann as his family prepares to sell the Massapequa Park property. The vault’s large door, marked with Heuermann’s initials was removed by movers and taken away. An attorney for the family says they are clearing out the house, with some belongings being discarded and others stored.
