The MTA wants to raise Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North fares by 4% by Labor Day
In addition, subway and bus fares would go up to $2.90.
They are also planning toll hikes of 6% E-ZPass costomers and 10% for Tolls by Mail.
Customers will be able to offer feedback at public meetings online and in person in June, before the MTA Board votes on the fares the following month. The dates for the public meetings are expected to be announced soon.
