A four-day law enforcement gang crackdown operation across Nassau County has resulted in 42 arrests.
Authorities said 25 of those taken into custody are suspected members of the MS-13, and other street gangs. 33 of those arrested are now in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Law enforcement agencies also seized a cache of weapons, narcotics, and cash during the raids.
The crackdown was part of a coordinated effort between local, state, and federal agencies to curb gang violence and drug trafficking in the county.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are possible.
