PD: Nassau teen arrested for threat against High School

Westbury, NY- Nassau County Police say an 18-year-old Westbury High School student was taken into police custody Tuesday after allegedly threatening violence against students and staff. Officials say the student, “expressed his desire to conduct a violent act towards students and faculty members. The faculty became aware of the threat and the school administration immediately notified Old Westbury Police Department.”

Oketa Orlando Blair Jr., of 223 Hopper Street, Westbury was arrested and charged with Making a Terroristic Threat and Aggravated Harassment 2nd Degree. An Extreme Risk Protection Order was granted by a judge which prevents the defendant from purchasing any firearms. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at First District Court, Hempstead.
