UPDATE: Suffolk County Police say Iyanna Farris, 10, of Bellport, was located unharmed in Alexandria, Virginia.
East Farmingdale, NY- Long Island police are searching for a missing 10-year-old girl from Bellport. Authorities in Suffolk County say Iyanna Farris, left her home on Americus Avenue on Monday morning and took a ride-share vehicle to Hempstead. Police say the ride-share dropped her off in the area of West Columbia Street. Officials say Iyanna might be trying to leave New York and head to Georgia. Iyanna has been described as “Black-Hispanic, 5-feet tall, 76 pounds and has brown eyes and brownish-blonde hair. She is possibly in need of medication”.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 10-year-old Iyanna Farris is asked to call 911.
