PD: Man stabbed roommates then crashed a stolen vehicle

Lindenhurst, NY- Police in Suffolk County say they arrested a Copiague man Thursday afternoon, after he allegedly stabbed two of his roommates and then crashed a stolen vehicle. Officials say James Domanico, stabbed one of his roommates Latoya Rolle, multiple times outside of 730 West Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst and then the two, drove off in a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee owned and driven by an acquaintance, Arielle Itzkowitz. Later, in the area of Miramar Blvd, police say Domanico allegedly stabbed a second roommate, Joseph Zuck. Officials say after stabbing Zuck, James Domanico, then took the Jeep Cherokee and crashed into a tree on Albert Lane in Lindenhurst and drove off before abandoned the vehicle on the northbound side of Route 231 near Hale Road.

Roommates Zuck and Rolle were transported to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

According to a release from the Suffolk County Police Department, Domanico, 36, of West Santa Barbara Road, was charged with two counts of Assault 2nd Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, and one count of Grand Larceny 3rd Degree.
