Elmont, NY- Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a serious accident involving a motorcycle that happened on Monday night in Elmont. Police say a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle was involved in a crash with a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder at the intersection of Dutch Broadway and Harriet Street just before 10pm. Police say the man driving the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. A female passenger on the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital, listed in stable condition. The driver of the Nissan suffered minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
