Two men have been arrested for stealing cooking oil from eight businesses in Nassau County.
Police say they caught the suspects stealing the oil from The IHOP on Hillside Avenue in Williston Park on Wednesday.
The pair are also accused of stealing oil from seven other business in Williston Park, Garden City, New Hyde Park and Port Washington.
The oil can be reprocessed and sold on the black market as renewable diesel or biodiesel fuel.
