The Islanders will take on Hurricanes in first round of 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Islanders lost the season series, 3-1, with their only victory coming in the first game back in October.
The Islanders and Hurricanes have met just once in the playoffs. In their 2019 series, Carolina would sweep the Isles and outscored them, 13-5.
The Rangers and Devils will face off in first round of 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs
New Jersey finished second in the Metropolitan division. The Rangers finished behind the Devils in the division, which means the Devils will have home-ice advantage.The Devils won the season series 3-1 and outscored the Blueshirts 14-11.
This will be the seventh all-time meeting between both clubs. The last time was in 2012.
