Police say driver in crash that killed father, 2 kids was going 120 mph, high on drugs

Michael Deangelo has been arrested for the accident in Massapequa last week that killed a father and two children, as well as leaving another two other children in critical condition.

Deangelo was arrested after police said he was high on cocaine and fentanyl as he drove more than 120 mph just seconds before the crash

The Suspect suffered compound ankle fractures and other injuries; he was arraigned at his bed at Nassau University Medical Center. He pleaded not guilty and his bail was set at $500,000 cash. His next court date is schedule for Aug. 15.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
