Police say shots were fired from a basement in North Massapequa early Sunday morning,
The suspect used a semi-automatic rifle to fire multiple rounds from his basement in the direction of two neighboring houses.
A bullet struck the back of one of the homes, while another entered the living room of the second home. no one was hurt during the shooting.
When police arrived, the suspect allegedly refused to leave. But a short time later, the man surrendered.
