The New York state Supreme Court has blocked the transfer of the Nassau Coliseum to Las Vegas Sands.
The ruling is a major stumbling block to Las Vegas Sands plan to put a casino on land that was owned by Nassau County.
Hofstra University filed an initial petition against the lease transfer on April 18, 2023.
