Six cars went up in flames at the Sands Shopping Center on Long Beach Road in Oceanside. Four of the cars were completely destroyed in the fire. The other two were damaged.
The fire started around 4:30 Monday afternoon.
50 firefighters from three departments responded. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.
