A bald eagle that was found injured on Route 112 in Medford last week has been released back into the wild.
The eagle, which was given the name Liberty, was found after it was hit by the side view mirror of a truck.
After caring for Liberty for almost a week, the Sweetbriar Nature Center found that the eagle was ready to eat and hunt on its own and released him.
