Democrat Tom Suozzi and Republican Mazi Melesa Pilip appeared together at a weekend rally for Israeli hostages that are being held by Hamas.
The two are running against each other in the special election for New York’s 3rd Congressional District.
Suozzi and Pilip stood next to each other at the Mid-Island Y Jewish Community Center alongside the parents Omer Neutra, one of six living American hostages, among 136 in total still held by Hamas.
