The New York Times and Washington Post are reporting that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is expected to ease the COVID-19 isolation guidelines this spring. Americans may be advised that it’s safe to return to regular routines after been fever free for 24 hours with mild or improving symptoms.
Since 2021, the agency has said people should isolate for at least five days after a positive test and continue masking.
