A Shirley man has been arrested for ditching boat in the Pine Barrens.
The boat was left in a wooded area off the Long Island Expressway in Manorville last week.
Police were able to identify the suspect with video from surveillance cameras that are located throughout the protected area. The suspect faces up to $10,000 in fines if he is convicted.
